In our ongoing efforts to foster strong partnerships and support for chess in The Gambia, the Gambia Chess Federation (GCF) recently had the pleasure of meeting with Mr. Youssef Adil, the Country Manager of Royal Air Maroc. The meeting was held to discuss potential collaborations and support for our upcoming international events, including the much-anticipated Chess Olympiad in Budapest, Hungary.

Mr. Youssef Adil warmly welcomed the GCF delegation to his office, demonstrating a genuine interest in our mission and activities. His receptiveness and enthusiasm set the tone for a very productive discussion. We were delighted to find a shared vision for promoting educational and cultural exchanges through chess, as well as enhancing the international presence of The Gambia’s chess talents.
